Let's talk skin - one of my favorite subjects! I've struggled with my skin since my high school years. I struggle with acne (*I've done accutane TWICE*) so I really have to take care of my skin. I use to envy my friends who could just use a bar of soap to wash their face meanwhile there I was using a 5 step skincare routine at age 13! Through trial and error and testing any skincare product I could get my hands on, I've learned that with the RIGHT products & lots of knowledge, my skin is manageable - actually to the point where its really clear and the texture has dramatically improved WITHOUT any medication! The Elemis Pro Cleansing Balm nourishes as a balm, easily removes makeup as a cleansing oil and hydrates as a cleansing milk. This is my first step in "double cleansing". You may ask "why double cleanse" or "what even is double cleansing?!" Well for me, I wear makeup on the daily (I LOVE putting makeup on)! Here is where "double cleansing" comes in .. basically the cleansing balm will melt off & dissolve all of your makeup (or just the daily grime). It is super important for me to make sure I get all my makeup off since I wear a full face on top of the fact that I struggle with acne (if you didn't know acne is caused by clogged pores - HINT HINT left over makeup or grime)! I actually did a little experiment on this to see if double cleansing is even worth it. I used my cleanser 2X to get my face makeup off & to cleanse - no balm. Once I got out the shower I took a cleansing pad to see if I was able to get everything off, and I literally screamed when I saw the pad! It looked like I had never even washed my face!! The next night I used the balm AND THEN used my cleanser (in the process of trying new cleansers from drugstores). When I got out the shower I grabbed a cleansing wipe to see what was left over and GUESS WHAT?!! NOTHING was left over! After a little over a month of using this balm I noticed the acne has dramatically decreased and my skins texture has improved SO MUCH!! 

The Cleansing Balm literally melts your makeup off but also nourishes your skin making it softer. Did I mention the smell is like a spa? It's AMAZING!! The longer you let the balm set on your skin before wiping it away, the better & softer your skin will feel! After the balm I will use a gentle cleanser to make sure my face is makeup free and my pores have been deeply cleaned! I love the fact that the ingredients in this are natural& all have benefits to your skin. THIS PRODUCT IS A GAME CHANGER!!
